## Performance and Design Features
The eQ250 propulsion system is engineered to be 20 dB quieter and 20% more efficient than comparable electric propulsion systems. These improvements are aimed at enabling quieter short-to-medium-range regional air mobility, particularly from smaller airports. The system's design is also being adapted for future applications, including a U.S. Air Force contract for quiet, efficient autonomous logistics aircraft and advanced STOL/VTOL designs for runway independence.
