Singapore Airlines Winter 2026/27 Schedule Adds A380
Singapore Airlines will fly to 82 destinations this winter, redeploying the Airbus A380 to Auckland for the full season and adjusting cabins on Australian

Singapore Airlines will operate 82 destinations from Changi this winter, with the Airbus A380 returning to Auckland for the entire season and selected Sydney and Brisbane flights changing cabin type. Madrid rejoins the network while Western Sydney is a new addition. Hangzhou is already back. Dubai returns after its suspension in February, and Riyadh restarts on 1st December, a route last served in September 2014.
Auckland will see the Airbus A380 on SQ285/286 for the entire winter season from late October 2026. That deployment is much longer than last winter’s mid-January to late March deployment. Auckland will have 2017 J seats daily for five months in Business Class.
Bali gets a mix of widebody and narrow-body services after its all-787 summer. Three of six daily flights (SQ934/935, SQ946/947 and SQ948/949) switch to the Boeing 737-8 MAX from 25th October 2026. It’s MAX RJ seats on half the schedule and 2018 RJ seats for the other half. Each of the three remaining 787-10 flights has a gap of around three weeks at various points in the season. SIA reduces capacity to and from Bali by a fifth.
New Business Class seat introduction timeline
A brand new long-haul Business Class seat will enter service from early 2027 on refitted Airbus A350 Long Haul aircraft. The new seat will enter service from mid- to late 2027 on the first Boeing 777-9s. Specific flights for the new seats have not been confirmed yet.
Singapore Airlines currently operates four Business Class seat types: the 2013 long-haul product, the 2017 A380 version, a narrower 2018 regional seat, and the ten-seat cabin on the Boeing 737-8 MAX.
Current Business Class fare dynamics on key routes
Business class fares on Singapore Airlines' Boeing 777-operated routes show significant variation. On the Singapore-London Heathrow 777-300ER service, Business Flexi fares ranged from $5,944 to $9,100 on September 30. The 777-operated SIN-LHR service departs Singapore at 12:35 PM local time and arrives in London at 7:30 PM local time.
One outlet noted that "the starting fare on three of the four flights, including the 777-300ER service, was around $7,780 (SGD 9,905.20)" on that date. The A350-900 SIN-LHR flight fare was around $9,736. Just days earlier, on September 27, the 777-300ER SIN-LHR fare was $9,100. By October 14, Singapore Airlines offered Business Standard at $4,816 and Business Flexi at $6,460 on the same 777 route.
Similar volatility was seen on other key routes. Fares on September 30 provide a snapshot.
| Route | Aircraft | Business Class Fare (USD) |
|---|---|---|
| Singapore-London Heathrow | 777-300ER | $5,944 - $9,100 |
| Singapore-Paris | 777 | $7,967 |
| Singapore-Auckland | 777 | $6,360 |
| Singapore-Tokyo Narita | Not Specified | $4,905 |
| Singapore-Melbourne | Not Specified | $5,128 |
| Singapore-Frankfurt | 777 | $4,480 |
The airline offers three business class fare types: Lite, Standard, and Flexi. On some longer and more premium-heavy routes, a one-way 777 business class fare can go beyond $9,000. On some routes within Asia, 777 business class tickets can be found for around $800.
Award pricing and loyalty program updates
For services to London Heathrow, Paris and Amsterdam, passengers can expect to spend 108,500 miles on a Business Saver Award Ticket. A Business Advantage Award Ticket requires 141,500 miles. For destinations such as Shanghai, Beijing and Jakarta, Business Class award tickets cost between 22,000 and 75,000 miles.
In November last year, Singapore Airlines introduced a third award type called Access. Access awards use dynamic pricing, so the number of miles required can change based on seat availability, route, time of year, and cabin.
The new long-haul Business Class seat will enter service from early 2027 on refitted Airbus A350 Long Haul aircraft.
